Our Sanctuary Dogs

Can't adopt or foster a dog? You can still help!  All of the dogs featured below will remain in their loving foster homes for the rest of their lives. They are not available for adoption for a variety of reasons: some have constant medical needs, some are in the final stages of illness, some have special emotional needs.

You can sponsor one of our Sanctuary Dogs by clicking the link next to the dog. Your contribution provides ongoing medical care for our Sanctuary Dogs. Without sponsors like you, we could not continue our mission of rescuing and caring for dogs, particularly the ones we know will not be highly adoptable.

I'm Franklin

Franklin came to us by way of a shelter, where he was picked up as a stray.  He's around 10-12 years old, is super sweet, totally adorable, but unfortunately, blind, diabetic and has a heart murmur.  Franklin will forever be a part of our rescue and will live happily ever after with his foster mom.

His heartworm prevention, along with diabetic medication (twice daily insulin shots, needles, and urine strips) are approximately $50/month.  Your sponsorship helps to offset these costs, along with frequent veterinary trips to monitor the diabetes.  All sponsored donations will go directly toward covering Franklin's veterinary expenses.  Please email us when you make your donation for Franklin, and Franklin will be sure to send you a personalized thank-you email! 🐾

Franklin will be updating his new blog page soon, to chronicle all his fun adventures with his foster mom and fur-siblings (some are naked, too!).
