Measurements below are approximate and taken from the top of the neck collar to the end of the shirt, and across under the armpits with the shirt lying completely flat and not stretched.  For reference, the small fit our 5lb dog, the medium fit our 10lb dog, the large fit our 14lb dog, and the XL will fit a dog no more than about 20lbs. 
 
Small:  Length - 10.5"  Width - 7.5"
Medium:  Length - 12.5"  Width - 8.5"
Large:  Length - 14.25"  Width - 9.5"
X-Large:  Length - 16.5"  Width - 10.5"
